Yangon Division Some members of the military council were killed and several others were injured when a car belonging to a military council crashed into a ravine in Kamakalu village in Karen Township, Yangon Division on the morning of April 21, locals said.

     "The incident took place at the Kamakalu Bridge. At around 5 am today, the brakes broke and the car crashed. Four members of the military council were killed," said a Kamakalu local resident. 

    Locals said the members of the military council were patrolling the area in the morning and evening. A military vehicle crashed into a ravine in Kharan Township while guerrillas were attacking guerrillas. 

    It is widely reported that the vehicle crashed into a ravine while dodging mines, but locals say the area has never been attacked by local security forces.
